When the war began, Vitaly Yevtushenko’s family (Lisove, Cherkassky Oblast) took on the difficult but so important and blessed work of hosting refugees from different regions of the country. They tirelessly gave them physical, moral, and spiritual support. Below is a thank you message from one such family who came to them from Zaporozhye. This family had previously taken 19 children into their care!
“Our family thanks Vitaliy Yevtushenko and all of his family who gave us shelter in Lisove, Cherkasy region. Who settled 17 people on the second floor of their house. And faithfully cared for us for 80 days, or 2.5 months. It was a very hard work and service to God. You are the hands of God for us, Vitaly and Oksana. Your children also served us. We thank the Lord for you all.
And then the time came to let us go with a blessing. But this is yet another story…”
