The city of Nikolaev, which borders the front line, remains one of the focal points of the relief effort. Many people have left their homes here, and those who remain are in great need of basic necessities. No jobs, electric power or gas. Poor supply of medicine and food. Because of the frequent shelling during the day and night, people don’t even get a decent night’s sleep.
